No where in the world but Vegas could you find a 24-hour drive-thru wedding chapel run by an Elvis impersonator. It’s the capitol city of the spontaneous quickie wedding and the sheer volume of tiny wedding chapels peppering the city prove it. Don’t worry though, if the last minute, grab a stranger off the street kind of thing isn’t up your alley, Las Vegas hotels can definitely accommodate you. No request is too decadent, and no detail too small. This is, after all, Vegas.

Weddings at The Venetian
Packages range from the inexpensive but incredibly quaint Gondola wedding for $800.00 up to the $7500.00 ceremony that begins with a steam bath, spa services and a private bridal suite to calm any pre-wedding jitters. Packages include champagne, live flute, violin or guitar accompaniment for the ceremony, bridal bouquet and boutonniere and of course, the all important photographs to remind you of your spectacular day.

Weddings at The Bellagio
Ranging from $1000.00 to $16,000.00 Weddings at the Bellagio are filled with flowers, champagne, gourmet chocolates and romance. You start your day with a couples spa package, then walk down the aisle to the sounds of a live harpist and end it with theater tickets and a two night stay in one of the Bellagio’s luxurious suites. All Bellagio packages include a private bridal suite to prepare and a professional photographer to capture your special moments.

Weddings at Wynn Las Vegas
Packages ranging from $990.00 for a renewal ceremony to $23,090 for a no holds barred wedding to remember including pre-wedding spa treatments, a rose petal covered bridal path, photographer, monogrammed robes in your awaiting villa and a dizzying array of vintage champagne for you to toast with. Music, chocolate fondue dessert delivered to your room, show tickets and breakfast in bed are just a few of the little touches that will ensure you start your married life off in style.

The best Las Vegas hotels offer wedding packages that run the gamut of quiet elegance up to over the top extravaganza and because nobody throws a party like Vegas, you can rest assured that every single detail will be taken care of. From the wedding consultant to the champagne to the boutonniere and the photographer, your wedding day is in good hands in Vegas, no matter what your budget.

When you think of Vegas, you think of luxury. Opulent Las Vegas Hotels lining the strip and offering any and everything you could possibly desire. The very best Las Vegas hotels know how to satisfy their guests and do so with a flare that has most certainly not escaped the attention of the people behind the prestigious AAA Five Diamond Awards.

The AAA (CAA in Canada) has been inspecting both restaurants & lodgings since 1963 but only began rating and awarding the much sought after Diamond designation in 1977 with Five Diamonds being the pinnacle in first class excellence and sophistication. The list of Five Diamond designated establishments is published each November and the recently released list for 2010 boasts 213 hotels and 52 restaurants, with an astounding 12 being awarded in Las Vegas alone. With the hundreds of thousands of hopeful restaurants, hotels, and resorts, only 265 have been deemed worthy of the Five Diamond status. If you have ever doubted the ability of Las Vegas Hotels to dazzle, spoil and surprise you, the very fact that Las Vegas has a higher concentration of Five Diamond establishments than any other city in the USA, Canada, Mexico and The Caribbean might just change your mind. So next time you happen to be surrounded by the bright lights of Las Vegas, be sure to check out a few of these diamonds for yourself.

If your bathroom looked like this one, would you ever leave it?

Fancy Bathroom

Would you be surprised to learn that, rather than being located in some swanky millionaire mansion, this is a public bathroom? You can find it in Zeffirino Ristorante at The Venetian Hotel. The bathroom was actually a top ten finalist in “Americas Best Public Restroom.”

Yes, apparently there is a contest for that.

We all know that Las Vegas Hotels take great pride in turning the ordinary into something decadently over the top and this of course includes the bathrooms, because nothing is too grand for Vegas, including the room that gets spoken about the least. A few of the so called “basic” amenities include marble walls so smooth that they look like butter, hand crafted chandeliers, flat screen TVs, thick Turkish towels, fountains and fixtures that look like they came straight from the pages of a rather slick magazine. Bathrooms in the Las Vegas Hotel and Casinos are definitely not just forgotten side rooms that are functional, but nothing to get excited about. And really, why wouldn’t they be the luxurious spectacle that they are? This, after all, Vegas.

Whether it’s a bathtub that you could hold a piano recital in or more floor space than your average apartment, these bathrooms translate into every girl’s (or guys) dream.

Wynn Bathroom

Public bathroom at the Wynn Hotel & Casino. Yes, that’s right. I again said public bathroom.

Bellagio Bathroom

What they consider a “standard” bathroom at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino

Red Rock Bathroom

No. Not a spa. The bathroom in a Red Rock Casino & Hotel room

The only problem with all of these bathrooms is that even though the lights of Vegas await outside, you may be tempted to just sink into a tub and stay right where you are.

The Ultimate Night in Las Vegas – Volume 3

Tags: , , , , , ,

If you thought that the last round of The Ultimate Night in Las Vegas was killer, then hold on to your hat, or a random stranger, or whatever happens to be handy because each and every month, you will be given an itinerary that cannot, that should not be passed up. The glitz and the glamor of Las Vegas hotels will never be disputed, but fitting it all in, well, that’s a whole other story. This is exactly why we will continue to bring you the most delectable restaurants, the most amazing shows, and the sexiest nightclubs that exist in the Las Vegas hotel scene. You don’t have to plan, you just have to show up. Because if you’re not hitting these spots, then you’re not hitting Vegas.

Destination 1- Daniel Boulund French Brasserie- Wynn Las Vegas. Start the evening off with friends around a few plates of appetizers meant to share, like the Shellfish Plateau, the Artisan Cheese plate complete with dried fruit and nuts, or a delicate selection of meats and bread. This elegant room with its soft lighting and amazing plate presentation is the perfect place to hang out with a group and enjoy some Michelin star awarded fare. Want the ultimate in decadent food? Try the DB Burger. A 9oz sirloin burger stuffed with short ribs, foie gras & black truffle.

Destination 2- Blue Man Group- With a full belly and a big smile, head over to The Venetian to take in the show that combines theatrics, music, comedy and multi-media. You never know quite what to expect with this troupe of performers, but a good time is definitely guaranteed. If you happen to be seated in the “poncho section” don’t worry, the show supplies the poncho that will keep you clean and dry and ensure that you don’t leave looking like a blue man.

Destination 3- LAX Nightclub at The Luxor- The second that you stroll in through the massive Jewel shaped door, you’ll feel like a celebrity. Las Vegas hotel nightclubs know how to do “sexy” and LAX is no exception. Glossy red leather couches, ornate ironwork and subtle lighting in shades of purple and red make you feel like you’ve entered a forbidden zone of luxury. With a huge roster of DJ’s and celebrity “party hosts,” the music and the good times seem endless at LAX. Want to kick your evening up a notch or two? Inquire online to register for your very own VIP area, because when you’re in Vegas, everyone can party like a rockstar.
